Petersburg’s Ruby Massin wins State wrestling

Petersburg High School Sophomore, Ruby Massin, won the State Wrestling Championship in the 125 pound weight class. She’s the first Petersburg girl to ever win state wrestling and the first wrestling champion for the Vikings since 2010.

Kludt-Painter signs new three-year contract as Petersburg Superintendent

Petersburg School Board approved a new three-year contract for Superintendent Erica Kludt-Painter. The unanimous vote of support came at the board’s last regular meeting.

Petersburg emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle wreck on South Nordic Drive Friday morning. There were no major injuries but the trucks were damaged.
