School board to vote on food service renovation bid award

The district administration is asking the school board to accept the $1,526,176 bid from Jay-Brant General Contractors. The project will renovate the kitchen facility at the elementary school and finish a catering kitchen at the high school.

Petersburg filmmaker, Kelly Bakos, is taking on the issue of sea otters in her new film “Occam’s Otter”. In the one-hour documentary, she’s attempting to take a neutral look at a controversial issue. And she wants to hear from anyone with an opinion.

Petersburg’s Nutcracker to feature 180 local dancers

The local dance studio MDT is performing the Nutcracker dance recital this coming weekend at the Wright Auditorium, Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
