PHS cross country team runs through individual challenges

Petersburg High School cross country hosted 16 teams at a home meet this past weekend. About 200 runners participated. But those runners weren’t just competing against each other. Cross country is a sport that requires individual athletes to face their own personal challenges.

School board to hear assessment test results at meeting

The school board will hear results from PEAKS assessment testing that happened this spring. The group will also hear how Petersburg is implementing ESSA, which replaced the No Child Left Behind Act.
