PHS baseball team loses three in Sitka

Petersburg High School’s baseball team played in Sitka last week and lost three games. The Vikings baseball team will next play at home over the Little Norway Festival weekend against Thunder Mountain from Juneau.

Many people want to use reusable bags at the grocery store, they just forget to bring them. That’s the premise of a project by a Petersburg volunteer group that installed a “borrow-a-bag tree” at one of the local grocery stores.
